This Privacy Policy explains how Scène (“Scène”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information. Scène is operated by CHUM Man Lee, an individual developer based in Hong Kong.
By downloading or using Scène (the “App”), you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Scène does not collect your name, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or browsing history, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking.
To generate images and written reflections, Scène uses Google’s Firebase AI Logic and Gemini models. When you request generation, the relevant text and any photos you add are transmitted to Google for processing and returned to your device. This processing is subject to Google’s terms and privacy practices:
Because generation relies on a third-party AI provider, please do not upload photos of other people without their consent, and avoid submitting sensitive personal information you would not want processed by a third party.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA). Because your diary data lives on your device, you can exercise access and deletion directly in the App at any time. For any other request, contact us at sprout.app.support@gmail.com. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Scène is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.
We rely on your device’s security features and on Google’s security for data in transit and processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Scène is not offered in, and is not intended for use in, mainland China, Russia, or Türkiye. Availability may change and may be further restricted by the app store where you obtained the App.
Google may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, such transfers rely on the safeguards described in Google’s policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
